Volleyball Recap: Rockwall-Heath Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Rockwall-Heath waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Rockwall Yellowjackets as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Hawks were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Yellowjackets, so the Hawks were just returning the favor.

While Rockwall-Heath might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Rockwall scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Rockwall lost, don't look at Audrey St. Clair. Despite the final result, she had 17 digs and six assists. St. Clair has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played. Kate Lindsay also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Rockwall-Heath's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Rockwall, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-15.
