Basketball Recap: Reagan Comes Up Short

Reagan lost against Coral Park back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Reagan Bison were outmatched by the Coral Park Rams and fell 38-9. The Bison were down 32-7 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Reagan's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mariangel Perez, who posted two points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Perez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played dating back to last season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Coral Park to victory, but perhaps none more so than Greisy Perdomo, who put up 11 points and seven steals. Ana Bodie was another key player, putting up four points in addition to eight steals, seven boards, and six assists.

Reagan's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Coral Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Reagan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 22-18 victory against Sunset on the 24th. As for Coral Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 43-40 win against Braddock on the 24th.
