Volleyball Game Preview: Chapman Panthers vs. Mountain View Prep Stars

The Chapman Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Mountain View Prep Stars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chapman will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Chapman not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Greer Middle College as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-5, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Mountain View Prep got the win against Union County on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Stars in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won four in a row.

Mountain View Prep never let Union County on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16, 25-19.

Chapman's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Mountain View Prep, their win bumped their record up to 19-2.

Chapman suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Mountain View Prep in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
