Softball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty fell victim to Amherst County and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Lancers, falling 14-0. The loss continues a trend for the Minutemen in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Amherst County, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Coming up, Liberty will face off against Tunstall at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amherst County, they will square off against Rustburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
