Football Game Preview: Quanah Indians vs. Wellington Skyrockets

Quanah hasn't had much luck against Wellington recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Indians will host the Skyrockets at 7:00 p.m. Quanah has given up an average of 37.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Quanah's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Wheeler on Friday. They had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Mustangs. The game marked the first time this year in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

Wellington never got on the board in their matchup back in September, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Clarendon on Friday. They blew past the Broncos 48-6. Considering the Skyrockets have won four matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Wellington's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.7 points on average this season. As for Quanah, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
