Soccer Recap: Midland Legacy Comes Up Short

Midland Legacy lost against Odessa back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Midland Legacy Rebels fell just short of the Odessa Bronchos by a score of 2-1.

Midland Legacy's goal came courtesy of Matthew Gutierrez, who's now up to two this season.

Midland Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Odessa, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-5.

Midland Legacy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against San Angelo Central on the 25th. As for Odessa, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Permian on the 25th.
