Volleyball Game Preview: Quitman Bulldogs vs. England Lions

The Quitman Bulldogs will face off against the England Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Quitman heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Wednesday. They came up short against Hackett, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when England and Magnet Cove meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Lions fell 3-1 to the Panthers.

Quitman's loss dropped their record down to 13-5-2. As for England, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Everything went Quitman's way against England in their previous meeting back in September of 2019, as Quitman made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
