Soccer Game Preview: Bryan vs. Millard North

The Bryan Bears will face off against the Millard North Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bryan is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They never let Omaha Northwest get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Bryan have beaten Omaha Northwest the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Omaha Northwest has come to flipping the script.

Bryan's offense was hitting Omaha Northwest from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Alex Vallin led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Millard North hadn't done well against Creighton Prep recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Millard North beat Creighton Prep by a goal, winning 2-1. The game was the first time Millard North have beaten Creighton Prep on their pitch since March 21, 2023.

Bryan was able to grind out a solid win over Millard North in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Will Bryan repeat their success, or does Millard North has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
