Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sherwood). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Sunset Apollos 85-55. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bowmen also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

The win made it two in a row for Sherwood and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Sunset, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

Sherwood will be home for the holidays to greet Grants Pass at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Sherwood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Grants Pass likes a good challenge. As for Sunset, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
