Volleyball Game Preview: Hart Pirates vs. Cedar Springs Red Hawks + How To Watch

The Hart Pirates will venture away from home to square off against the Cedar Springs Red Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hart will be strutting in after a victory while Cedar Springs will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Hart turned things around against Hesperia on Tuesday. They blew past the Panthers 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-16.

Alayna Schiller and Grace Tucker were among the main playmakers for Hart as the former had 18 digs and six aces and the latter had ten assists and four digs. Those four digs gave Tucker a new career-high. Giulia Cremonese also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Hart was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are 6-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meanwhile, Cedar Springs suffered their biggest loss since September 16th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Allendale.

Cedar Springs was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Allendale work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18, 26-24.

Hart's win bumped their record up to 11-14-1. As for Cedar Springs, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-20-3.
