Softball Recap: Monarch Takes a Loss

Monarch came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-0 to the Coral Springs Charter Panthers. The game marked the first time this year in which the Knights were not able to get on the board.

Monarch's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Coral Springs Charter, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Monarch will head out to square off against Boyd Anderson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coral Springs Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stoneman Douglas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Stoneman Douglas has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
