Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. Eagan

Jefferson is 0-3 against Eagan since August of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Jaguars will head out to take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Saturday, Jefferson didn't have quite enough to beat Hastings and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Eagan faced off against Spring Lake Park on Monday. The Wildcats never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Eagan.

Eagan's win bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Jefferson suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Eagan when the teams last played back in August of 2024. Can the Jaguars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
