NFL Yet Academy extended the longest winning streak in Charter 3A (8 Man) this week by beating Mohave Accelerated, 44-16. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Marcel Lopez's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on the Patriots.
Mohave Accelerated's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Clay Merrigan threw for 150 and 1 touchdown and Matthew Garrett had 75 yards receiving. On the ground Joey Riordan contributed 100 yards. Riordan helped Mohave Accelerated's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 45 yards.

NFL Yet Academy's Armando Ruiz Jr. and Guy Brown led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Ruiz Jr. has thrown for 1,642 yards this season, while Brown has 32 catches for 867 yards. Riordan from the Patriots leads the league in rushing with 692 yards.
Estrella made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,285 from 1,361. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 44-6 victory over South Ridge last week.
