Soccer Game Preview: Anson vs. Forest Hills

Anson hasn't had much luck against Forest Hills recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Bearcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Anson fell victim to West Stanly and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Colts, falling 5-0.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Forest Hills and Central Academy of Technology & Arts, and Central Academy of Technology & Arts kept the tradition alive. The Yellow Jackets lost 6-1 to the Cougars on Wednesday.

Forest Hills' loss dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Anson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Anson might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from Forest Hills in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Bearcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
