Basketball Recap: Wade Hampton Comes Up Short

Wade Hampton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They were dealt a 66-30 loss at the hands of the Dorman Cavaliers. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 185th, while the Cavaliers are ranked fifth).

Wade Hampton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Dorman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

While Wade Hampton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
