Volleyball Recap: Cocke County Gets the Win + How To Watch

While Cocke County's win against Cosby wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Fighting Cocks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Eagles on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Fighting Cocks in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won nine in a row.

Cocke County was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-15, 26-28, 25-14, 15-12.

Kaylee Livesay paced Cocke County's offense, picking up 14 kills. Livesay got some help from Kate Kickliter and her 20 assists. Kickliter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Cocke County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-18. As for Cosby, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
