Volleyball Recap: Boonville Pirates vs. St. Paul Lutheran Saints

Boonville took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-7, 19-25, 25-16, 15-10.
Despite the defeat, Boonville had strong showings from Addison Johnson, who had 34 digs, and Reagan Wilson, who had 14 digs. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last five games she's played dating back to last season.
Boonville's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for St. Paul Lutheran, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boonville will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Mexico at 6:30 p.m. Mexico will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Boonville surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Paul Lutheran, they will square off against Sweet Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
