Volleyball Recap: Barr-Reeve Beats Greencastle for Their Fifth Straight Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Barr-Reeve had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Greencastle Tiger Cubs. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Joslyn (JJ) Knepp paced Barr-Reeve's offense, picking up 16 kills. Knepp got some help from Hallie Knepp and her 34 assists. Joslyn (JJ) was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

Barr-Reeve's record now sits at 31-5. As for Greencastle, they moved to 30-5 with that loss, which also ended their 14-match winning streak.

Barr-Reeve didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Triton Central on the 1st. Greencastle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
