Barr-Reeve had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Greencastle Tiger Cubs on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on five straight.
Joslyn (JJ) Knepp paced Barr-Reeve's offense, picking up 16 kills. Knepp got some help from Hallie Knepp and her 34 assists. Joslyn (JJ) was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.
Barr-Reeve's victory bumped their record up to 31-5. As for Greencastle, the loss snapped their winning streak at 14 matches and leaves them with a 30-5 record.
Barr-Reeve didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Triton Central on the 1st. Greencastle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
