Football Game Recap: Madrid vs. Eagle Grove

Madrid have had to suffer through a 5-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were gifted an easy victory on Friday as Eagle Grove wound up forfeiting 0-2. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.

The win bumped Madrid's record up to 1-5. Eagle Grove are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.

Next week Madrid take on South Central Calhoun at 7:00 PM. Those two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. Eagle Grove will look to defend their home turf against Ogden at 7:00 PM. Those two teams out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.
