Basketball Recap: St. Croix Central Victorious

St. Croix Central won the last time they faced Prairie du Chien and things went their way on Saturday too. The St. Croix Central Panthers came out on top against the Prairie du Chien Blackhawks by a score of 69-56. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

St. Croix Central's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Prairie du Chien, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.

Coming up, St. Croix Central will face off against Amery at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Amery knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully St. Croix Central likes a good challenge. As for Prairie du Chien, they will take on Fennimore at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Prairie du Chien has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 180 points over their last three matchups.
