Frenship made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Midland Legacy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Frenship put the hurt on Midland Legacy with a sharp 12-4 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Frenship is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. Midland Legacy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-12-1.

Coincidentally, Frenship and Midland Legacy will both be playing Permian the next time they take the field. Midland Legacy will head out to face Permian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Frenship will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on April 11.
