Basketball Recap: Valley View Takes a Loss

Valley View suffered their biggest defeat since January 22, 2025 on Friday. They were outmatched by the La Feria Lions and fell 57-29. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

Valley View's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for La Feria, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Valley View is set to take on their familiar foe Hidalgo Early College at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, La Feria will square off against rival Port Isabel at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
