Basketball Game Recap: Victoria Knights vs. Central Plains Oilers

After a string of three wins, the Victoria Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 52-30 walloping at the hands of Central Plains. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Victoria has suffered yet this season.

Quincy Pickering was Victoria's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Ethan Vonlintel held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.

Victoria now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Central Plains, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Victoria will square off against Ellinwood at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Central Plains, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chase at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Chase comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
