Baseball Recap: Lockport Comes Up Short

Lockport lost against Niagara Falls last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lockport's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Niagara Falls, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lockport will square off against Kenmore East at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Niagara Falls, they will challenge Kenmore West at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
