Baseball Game Preview: Glendora Tartans vs. Temecula Valley Golden Bears

The Glendora Tartans will take on the Temecula Valley Golden Bears at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Glendora sitting on three straight victories and Temecula Valley on six.

Glendora is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Costa Mesa 2-1.

Sebastian Lawrence looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Glendora saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Danison, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Temecula Valley earned a 4-1 win over Castaic on Friday.

Glendora pushed their record up to 21-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Temecula Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 19-11.
