Basketball Recap: 21 Straight Home Wins for Stuart W. Cramer

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Stuart W. Cramer walked away with it. They took down the Rockingham County Cougars 49-32 on Friday. The Storm are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.

Stuart W. Cramer was led to victory by Oshauna Holland and Lauren Humphrey. Holland shot 64% from the field to rack up 19 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals, while Humphrey dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 boards. Holland's big performance that evening made it 35 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Unique Mcdowell, who posted eight points.

Stuart W. Cramer pushed their record up to 26-2 with the victory, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points over those games. As for Rockingham County, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-4.
