Basketball Recap: Heritage Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

There's no place like home for Heritage, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They snuck past the Knightdale Knights with a 55-49 win on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Huskies as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Knightdale lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jamari Williams, who went 7 for 17 on his way to 17 points. Williams is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Isaiah Green was another key player, putting up 12 points and five steals.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Knightdale, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-6.

Heritage has already played their next match, a 65-53 defeat against Garner on the 18th. As for Knightdale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-56 victory against Millbrook on the 24th.
