Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakes). They blew past the Grayslake North Knights 22-9 on Tuesday. The Eagles not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 30, 2024 (when they won 18-2).
Liv Tautges was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and four runs. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zoey Christian, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
Lakes always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
