Softball Game Preview: Clarkdale Bulldogs vs. Pisgah Dragons

For the second straight game, Clarkdale will face off against Pisgah. The Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Clarkdale heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Thursday. They came up short against Pisgah, falling 12-6. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

For Pisgah's part, Alex Holeman was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddi Byrd, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

The win was the third in a row for Pisgah, bringing their record up to 21-8. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.7 runs. As for Clarkdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-10.
