Soccer Game Preview: Anderson vs. West Clermont

The Anderson Raptors will square off against the West Clermont Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anderson's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Saturday, Anderson didn't have quite enough to beat Mason and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, West Clermont came tearing into Monday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Middies a 4-0 shutout. Considering West Clermont have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Anderson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2-4. As for West Clermont, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1.

Everything went Anderson's way against West Clermont when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Anderson made off with a 5-2 win. Do the Raptors have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
