If Central wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Springstead, they should've done a better job of containing Kiersten Caamano. The Eagles put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday thanks in part to Caamano, who had 12 digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Springstead walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-16.

Springstead has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Springstead will welcome Nature Coast Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Weeki Wachee on the 30th.
