Volleyball Recap: Copper Hills Takes a Loss

Copper Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Bingham Miners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Miners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

Copper Hills took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-23.

Ian Allgrunn paced Copper Hills' offense, picking up ten kills. Allgrunn got some help from Agustin Paz and his 24 assists.

Copper Hills' loss dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Bingham, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-4.

Copper Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Mountain Ridge on the 9th. As for Bingham, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Weber on the 9th.
