Baseball Recap: WF West Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask WF West). They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Centralia Tigers on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the sixth in a row for WF West, bringing their record up to 7-1-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Centralia, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. WF West will challenge Kelso at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
