Minneapolis had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs with a sharp 9-1 win on Monday. The Lions not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 10th (when they won 18-0).

Minneapolis' victory bumped their record up to 3-16. As for Sylvan-Lucas, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Sylvan-Lucas will venture away from home to face off against Ellinwood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Minneapolis will be paying especially close attention to the Mustangs' game: after the Mustangs face off against Sacred Heart, they'll take on Minneapolis again on Monday.
