Volleyball Recap: Desert Christian Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against California Military Institute last Tuesday, Desert Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Conquerors fell just short of the Santa Rosa Academy Rangers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

Desert Christian Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-17, 16-25, 25-9, 15-13.

Desert Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Santa Rosa Academy, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Desert Christian Academy will challenge rival Nuview Bridge at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Santa Rosa Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe California Military Institute at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
