Basketball Game Preview: Richland Rangers vs. Leake County Gators + Official Tickets

The Richland Rangers will face off against the Leake County Gators at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Richland is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Richland's last matchup with St. Andrew's Episcopal could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Rangers took a blow against the Saints, falling 54-24.

Meanwhile, Leake County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Tuesday as they fell 53-49 to Velma Jackson. The matchup marked the Gators' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Leake County fell to 4-1. As for Richland, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Richland came up short against Leake County in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 51-45. Can the Rangers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
