Byron Nelson had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Cypress Ranch Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday. The victory was just business as usual for the Bobcat, who after 41 matches remain undefeated this season.

Byron Nelson never let Cypress Ranch on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-16.

Kylie Kleckner paced Byron Nelson's offense, picking up 17 kills. Kleckner got some help from Sophee Peterson and her 50 assists. Ashlyn Seay controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Byron Nelson's win bumped their record up to 41-0. As for Cypress Ranch, the loss snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 39-9 record.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Byron Nelson and Dawson will shake off the rust and duke it out on Saturday. Cypress Ranch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
