It's playoff time, and Saraland had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 35-31 win over the Spain Park Jaguars on Friday. The Spartans' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

A big part of Saraland's win came down to the chemistry between Jamison Roberts and his top target Deshawn Spencer. Roberts rushed for 82 yards and three touchdowns while Spencer gained 222 total yards and a touchdown. Roberts was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 52 yards.

Saraland's run defense was locked in: Spain Park could only muster 1.2 yards per carry. The team can thank Ayindae Pugh for the heroic effort on defense: he. Saraland didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.6.

Saraland's defensive line didn't let Brock Bradley, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for four sacks. In that department, Leslie Lj Nobles was the leader with three.

Despite the loss, Spain Park had strong showings from Bradley, who threw for 343 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt, and Connor Greb, who picked up 154 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Saraland's record is now 11-0. As for Spain Park, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-3.
