Game recap: Cornwall Central High School Football Team wins against Goshen Central

GOSHEN, N.Y. - Cornwall Central (New Windsor, N.Y.) extended its winning streak to seven games with a 40-23 victory over Goshen Central (Goshen, N.Y.) on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a Mike White touchdown pass to Deston Treasure in the first quarter, the Dragons led 20-2 at the half.

Cornwall Central expanded its lead to 31 points entering the fourth quarter. CC scored two times in the third, including once on a Matt Robinson touchdown run.

Cornwall Central's most effective player was Kevin Gangemi. He ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored 12 touchdowns on the season.

The Dragons also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 48-19.
