While Shakamak's victory against Clay City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lakers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Eels on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lakers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The win got Shakamak back to even at 5-5. As for Clay City, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-5.
