Volleyball Recap: Father McGivney Catholic Comes Up Short

Father McGivney Catholic saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Notre Dame Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jack Bukovac paced Father McGivney Catholic's offense, picking up six kills. Bukovac got some help from Dax Lieberman and his ten assists. Bukovac was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Father McGivney Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Notre Dame, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Father McGivney Catholic has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Maryville Christian on the 12th. As for Notre Dame, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against St. Dominic on the 12th.
