Volleyball Recap: Houston Christian Mustangs vs. Providence Classical Paladins
Houston Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Providence Classical Paladins.
While Houston Christian ultimately came up short, they really made Providence Classical work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-13, 22-25, 25-21.
Houston Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15-1. As for Providence Classical, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-9-1 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Houston Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kinkaid at 6:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Providence Classical, after both having extra time off, they and Alpha Omega Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
