Baseball Recap: Warden Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Warden's offense. They came up short against the Colfax Bulldogs on Saturday, falling 27-0. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 17-0.

Warden's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Colfax, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-5 record.

Coming up, Warden will face off against Cle Elum-Roslyn at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Colfax, they will be playing at home against Freeman at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The game will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
