Softball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 18-7 to the Hercules Titans. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost four in a row.

Kennedy now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Hercules, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2-1.

Kennedy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 20-2 defeat against El Cerrito on the 25th. As for Hercules, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Patrick-St. Vincent at 4:00 p.m. on the 3rd. The Titans are facing the Bruins at the right time seeing as the Bruins are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
