The Dana Hills Dolphins will face off against the Aquinas Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Thursday, everything came up roses for Dana Hills against Northwood as the squad secured a 49-6 win. With the Dolphins ahead 42-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dana Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carter Anderson, who threw for 197 yards and four touchdowns while completing 94.1% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Anderson a new career-high in passer rating (168.4). Aiden Desormiers also helped with two scores in total.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Desormiers, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was Dana Hills' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Chuck Eckl and Micah Langohr, who racked up all four sacks between them. Langohr has been hot, having posted at least one sack the last five times he's played.
Meanwhile, Aquinas had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.6 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-12 victory over the Crusaders. The Falcons pushed the score to 42-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Crusaders cut but never quite recovered from.
Aquinas' win came from a few key players Dana Hills will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Champ Brown, who rushed for 114 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Reyes, who threw for 110 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Aquinas proved: they limited Village Christian to a paltry 2.4 yards per carry. The team can thank Omar Montenegro for the heroic effort on defense: he. Aquinas didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.3.

Dana Hills' record is now 9-1. As for Aquinas, their record now sits at an identical 9-1.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Dana Hills has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 154.9 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Aquinas struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 150.4 rushing yards.
