Volleyball Recap: Marion Giants vs. Richmond Red Devils
Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Richmond Red Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Giants of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-14.
Marion's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Richmond, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season.
Marion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Richmond has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Anderson on the 12th.
