Volleyball Recap: Campbellsville Falls to Washington County in First Game of Season

Campbellsville had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Washington County Commanders by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Commanders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Campbellsville will head out to square off against Bardstown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington County, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Nelson County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Commanders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
