Turner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds at home and fell 69-30. Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Turner will take on Saint Thomas Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Saint Thomas Aquinas is coming into the game with five straight wins at home, so Turner will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Shawnee Heights, they will square off against Spring Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Spring Hill will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Shawnee Heights surely won't give up without a fight.
