Basketball Recap: Reidsville Comes Up Short at Home Against NCSSM: Durham + How To Watch

Reidsville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns and fell 64-36. The Rams have struggled against the Unicorns recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Caroline Meaney continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for NCSSM: Durham, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Meaney is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Katherine Sproul, who posted 13 points and three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for NCSSM: Durham and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Reidsville will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Martinsville at 6:00 p.m. on December 1. As for NCSSM: Durham, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-40 win against Roxboro Community on the 20th.
